W11 Motorised Heavy Duty Pyramid Plate Rolls

INTRODUCTION
The machine main frame is fabricated from heavy steel plate to ensure rigidity and integral strength. The drive is from an electric motor through vee belts or coupling, to a worm reduction gearbox and finally to the bottom rollers through spur gearing. The bottom rolls are on fixed centres and the top roll is adjusted by an independent electric motor giving power rise and fall. The rolls are manufactured from forged steel and run on bearings. The top rolls are extended and pressure is applied here when lowering the swing down frame for removal of complete cylinders. The rolls are fitted with stub extensions to facilitate angle and pipe rolling. The machine is fitted with a safety trip wire easily accessible by the operator.
